Marcelo Cabrera

Original from Argentina, I graduated from University of Cordoba, Argentina in 1999.

I spent my first years working in different places around Latin America and after that, I moved to the UK. I worked in the UK for two years adding some experiences to my skills, always enjoying being in contact and working with animals.

In 2007 I decided to move to Barcelona and I was the vet responsible for all animals in “Protectora d’Animals de Mataró” between 2007 and 2014.

In 2008, I completed my MA in ethology in Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.

Traumatology and orthopaedics are two fields I am passionate for and therefore they have been my focus during my broad and professional experience.

Trained as a veterinary assistant and laboratory technician, he has worked in different veterinary hospitals and emergency services of the Maresme.

She has a wide experience in the management of critical patients and intensive care.

She has progressively joined the clinic since 2014 and currently works exclusively.

Her hobbies are hiking and climbing.

She is one of the founding members of the clinic.

Looking for as objective to create a center in Dosrius where we found covered all the necessities that an animal can need for his correct attention.

She is responsible for the management of the Animal Protector of Dosrius.

Activist and defender of the rights of the animals.

 

Amalia Gutierrez

Founding partner, responsible for the economic management of the
clinic, he works in the reception and attention to the public.

Originally from the city of Barcelona, she studied Veterinary Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, finishing her studies in 2002.

She has a great affinity for horses and dedicated herself to them until 2014, when she began to dedicate more time to the Small Animal Clinic.

She is finishing her postgraduate exams in internal medicine and small animal surgery at the UAB. He joined New Vet in 2018 performing emergencies, visits and routine surgeries.
